David Levine

David Levine has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. David began their career as an Attending Emergency Medicine Physician at Cook County Hospital in 1995 and later became the Associate Medical Director-Adult Emergency Department. In 2003, they assumed the position of Emergency Department Medical Director at Cook County Hospital, a role they held until 2010.

In the same year, David joined the University HealthSystem Consortium as the Associate Vice President of Informatics and Medical Director. David then became the President & CEO of Optimum EM in 2010, a position they held until 2015.

From 2011 to 2016, David served as a Professor of Informatics-School of Continuing Studies at Northwestern University. Following this, they joined Vizient, Inc in 2012 as the Vice President of Advanced Analytics & Informatics/ Medical Director. David climbed the ranks in the company, holding positions such as Senior Vice President, Group Senior Vice President, and Chief Medical Officer. Their responsibilities included overseeing advanced analytics and data science, leading the development of risk adjustment methodologies, and driving initiatives for the Center for Advanced Analytics.

David Levine received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Michigan from 1983 to 1987. David then pursued their MD at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine from 1987 to 1991.
