Jason A. Thomas

Jason A. Thomas currently serves as the Chief Information Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Jackson Parish Hospital, with additional roles as a Vizient Task Force Member for Third Party Risk Management and a board member for the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management (CAHIIM). With a rich background in health informatics, Jason teaches as an adjunct professor at Louisiana Tech University, where involvement includes chairing the advisory board for the Master's in Health Informatics program. Prior experiences include leadership positions at Green Clinic Health System, where a significant technology transition was successfully managed, as well as operational roles at GSRCPI and Northwestern State University. Jason holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in Information Assurance and Security, and has served on several advisory boards, demonstrating a commitment to education and professional development in the field of health informatics and information management.
