Samuel Varner

Samuel Varner, CIA, CFE, possesses extensive experience in safety leadership, auditing, and operations management across various industries. As a Group Safety Leader and Store General Manager at Target from July 1999 to August 2008, Samuel managed safety programs for 80 retail stores and three distribution centers, fostering relationships with leadership teams. From October 1992 to October 1998, Samuel served as an E-5 in the United States Marine Corps, overseeing a team responsible for the inspection and repair of F404-GE-400 engines while developing quality assurance protocols. Currently, Samuel works at Vizient, Inc. as an Auditor II and Manager of Audit Compliance, focusing on contract compliance and internal controls audits. Previous roles include CEO/Franchise Owner at Trinity Painting Solutions and Operations Manager at Apple Retail. Samuel holds a BSBA in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Dallas.
