Thao Bui

Thao Bui has a diverse work experience in the field of data analysis and public health. Thao worked as a Lead Analyst at Vizient, Inc, where they utilized their analytical skills. At the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, Thao served as a Community Profiles Analyst, managing community-level data needs and providing progress reporting. Thao also gained experience as a Health Systems Quality Intelligence Analyst at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where they developed data management standards and maintained subject matter data dictionaries. Thao worked as an Epidemiologist at City Harvest, where they developed data analysis plans and performed statistical analysis. Thao also served as a CBA Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at the Latino Commission on AIDS, providing trainings and workshops. Thao worked as a Research Consultant at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and as a Researcher at the Worldwide Orphans Foundation. Thao began their career as a Health Education Intern at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where they mentored young girls and provided learning assistance.

Thao Bui obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007. Later, from 2009 to 2011, Thao completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a focus on Global Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
