John Lin

John Lin is a seasoned technical project manager with extensive experience in managing firmware changes and feature delivery in high-tech environments. Currently serving in this capacity at VIZIO since June 2021, John Lin employs Scrum methodology to facilitate collaboration among engineering teams. Prior experience includes a role as an information technology project manager at Mercedes-Benz Japan, where John Lin negotiated system improvements and managed budgets for IT in Aftersales applications. Additionally, John Lin spent over seven years at CyberLink, where key contributions included the commercialization of SeeQVault protection technology and project management focused on client needs. John Lin's career began as an advanced researcher at Prepress Systems Ltd, where robotic manipulator systems were designed and analyzed. Academically, John Lin holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering, both in Mechatronics, from The University of Auckland.
