Mike Imberman

Mike Imberman has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mike started their career at Nortel Networks in 1997, where they worked as a Senior Software Designer in LTE GW Design. During this time, they also developed an R6 simulator using the Java programming language. Mike then moved on to work on GGSN Product Design, where they implemented software on the GGSN node in GPRS & UMTS networks.

In 2010, Mike joined Hitachi Communication Technologies America, Inc. as a Scrum Master/Software Engineer. Here, they converted various Linux applications from C++98 to C++11 and also converted them to 64-bit.

In 2016, they joined Developing Solutions, Inc. as a Product Verification specialist. During their time there, they managed a team in India and used automation tools like CallMation to execute and report test cases.

In 2017, they worked as a Software Developer at Cyber adAPT, where they converted applications from tar ball to Debian packages and customized open source packages.

Most recently, Mike worked as a Senior Software Engineer III at VIZIO, where they transitioned to the Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) industry. Here, they used tools like ffmpeg, C, python, google protobufs, and Judy Arrays to convert video and audio into points and match them with previously ingested content.

Mike Imberman attended The University of Texas at Dallas from 1993 to 1998. During this time, they did not declare a specific degree or field of study. In addition to their formal education, Mike Imberman obtained certifications including Mirantis Certified Administrator for OpenStack from Mirantis in December 2016 and Professional Scrum Master (PSM) level 1 from Scrum.org in November 2015.
