Peter Mottur

Peter Mottur has over 25 years of professional experience in the technology industry. Peter began their career in 1992 as the President and Founder of Mott Media, Inc. In 1997, they became the President and CEO of HydroActive, LLC., where they served in a variety of capacities. In 1999, they became Chairman and CEO of LiveWave, Inc., where they testified before the U.S. Congress. In 2005, they were appointed President and General Manager of Smiths Detection, and in 2012 they became the Director of Greenfins LLC. Since 2016, they have been the Founder and CEO of Vizsafe, Inc., a leading technology provider of safety, security and risk management solutions.

Peter Mottur began their educational journey at Tabor Academy from 1984 to 1987. Peter then attended the University of Rhode Island from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a BS in Marine Sciences, Aquaculture, and Oceanography. During their time at URI, they also attended the Sea Education Association from 1988 to 1989 to study Oceanography and Nautical Sciences.
