Bert Beck

Bert Beck is a scientific advisor at Agentschap Innoveren & Ondernemen, where they provide innovation support and manage agricultural projects. Previously, they served as a research associate at the Instituut voor Landbouw- en Visserijonderzoek from 2012 to 2017, coordinating biological control projects and contributing to EU-funded research. They also worked at UGent's Department of Crop Protection from 2008 to 2011, focusing on biocontrol methods in horticulture and educating students. Bert earned a Ph.D. in applied biological sciences from Ghent University in 2013 and a Master’s Degree in the same field in 2008.
