Vliegwiel is an impact fund built on long-term commitment. We invest in ventures that make the Netherlands more resilient, sustainable and future-proof by combining financial returns with meaningful societal progress.

Our investors share one ambition: creating positive impact. This allows us to work with a flexible exit horizon and prioritise lasting value over short-term gains. Accelerating impact together is not a slogan; it is how we operate.
We go beyond capital by offering hands-on support, strategic guidance and access to a network of experienced experts. By focusing on a select number of investments, we act as a true partner instead of a traditional financial backer.

We invest in the circular economy with solutions like Back to Battery, in climate and energy transition with innovators such as Renset, in biodiversity and natural capital with companies like Greendustry, and in sustainable nutrition that strengthens healthy and fair food systems.

If you are interested in building long-term impact together, we would be happy to connect.
