Jakub Orczyk

Jakub Orczyk has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Jakub started their career in 1998 as a Manager at Azymut sp. z o. o., and then moved on to work as the Internet Project Manager at Empik Group, where they were responsible for creating the concept of the internet service and launching the Empik.com store.

Jakub later served as the Sales Director and IT Director at WKRA SA, the biggest schoolbook wholesaler in Poland. Subsequently, Jakub Orczyk worked as the CEO and President of the Management Board at VULCAN Sp. z o. o., where they managed a software company operating in educational and self-government markets. Jakub successfully restructured the company and sold a significant stake to a strategic investor.

Jakub went on to work as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Wolters Kluwer Polska, where they were responsible for various sales channels and advertising. After that, they served as the Special Project Director at Wydawnictwa Szkolne i Pedagogiczne, and then as the R&D Director and interim Sales Director at Wydawnictwo Wiedza i Praktyka, where they focused on designing development plans and creating new streams of revenue.

In 2010, Jakub Orczyk became the Managing Partner at VM.PL Software House, where they were in charge of the company's sales policy and recruitment. Currently, they hold the position of Cluster representative in the DACH and French market at ITCorner, where they represent the interests of the Wrocław ITCorner cluster on the international market.

Jakub Orczyk earned their Master's degree in Law and Administration from the University of Wroclaw, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. Jakub also obtained a C2 Proficiency level certification from the British Council. Additionally, they completed a summer language course at the Universität zu Köln, achieving a C1 level proficiency.
