Maria Garlock

Maria Garlock is an accomplished interior designer currently working at VMDO Architects since July 2023. Previously, Maria served as an interior design intern at Quinn Evans from May 2022 to August 2022 and held the position of Diversity, Equity + Inclusion Chairman with Interior Designers for Education and Sustainability at Virginia Tech from September 2020 to May 2022, focusing on enhancing inclusivity within the field. Additional experience includes an internship at Katheryn Robertson, Ltd., where responsibilities involved drafting floor plans and sections, and a role as a restaurant team member at Panera Bread. Maria earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Virginia Tech, completing studies in 2023, after graduating with a high school diploma from Glen Allen High School in 2019.
