Matthew Y.

Matthew Y. is an experienced architectural professional with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech. Currently serving as an Architectural Designer at VMDO Architects since February 2023, Matthew previously held the position of Staff Designer at Cunningham | Quill Architects from November 2020 to February 2023. Prior internship experiences include work at Dewberry, where Matthew led schematic design documentation for an office renovation, and Perkins+Will, contributing to design efforts for the Chicago One Central Transit Hub. Additional internships involved preparing construction documentation and performing field surveys at Wilmot Sanz and EBA Ernest Bland Associates P.C., respectively. Matthew has developed a strong skill set in architectural design, technical documentation, and project coordination throughout a diverse range of projects.
