Thomas Bates

Thomas Bates is an accomplished architectural professional with extensive experience in visualization and design. Currently serving as the Director of Visualization and Associate at VMDO Architects since October 2010, Thomas has a strong background in multi-disciplinary design developed during tenure at Downstream as a Designer/Senior Designer from November 2007 to July 2010. Previous experience includes positions as an Intern Level Architect at Mahlum Architects, focusing on educational design, and at BLRB Architects, where project work included various innovative designs. Thomas holds a Bachelor's of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon, earned in 2006.
