Damian Purcell

Co Founder, Head of Broadcast at VML Technology

Damian Purcell has a diverse work experience in the multimedia industry. Damian co-founded VML Technology in 2011 and served as the Head of Broadcast, where they gained extensive video production experience and managed various aspects of projects, such as directing, camera operation, editing, and creative conception. Additionally, they were involved in functionality specification writing, management, UI/UX design, patent writing, and intellectual property. Prior to VML Technology, from 2005 to 2012, Damian owned and directed Recordit!, a motion picture and video production company. Damian also served as the co-founder and director of GolfersDen, a coaching and networking application for golf, from 2009 to 2012. Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Damian worked as a teacher at Portslade Community College and Brigidine College Randwick from 1999 to 2005 and 2002, respectively.

Damian Purcell attended Western Sydney University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSC) degree in Food Technology. Following their undergraduate studies, Damian pursued further education at Australian Catholic University from 1998 to 1999. Damian graduated with a Diploma of Education, specializing in Education.
