Emre Güler

Emre Güler has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Emre started their career as a Student Helper at the Institute for Internet Security in 2012. During their time there, they gained valuable knowledge and skills in the field. In 2016, they joined Ruhr University Bochum as a Research Assistant, where they continued to contribute to cybersecurity research. In the same year, they also started working as a Malware Analyst at VMRay, initially as a Student Helper. Emre then pursued higher education and became a Security Researcher and PhD student at Ruhr University Bochum from 2018 to 2022. In 2023, they joined VMRay as a Threat Researcher, further advancing their expertise in cybersecurity. Emre's work experience demonstrates their dedication and passion for the field of cybersecurity.

Emre Güler has a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Science from Westfälische Hochschule, which they completed in 2015. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in IT-Security at Ruhr University Bochum, graduating in 2017.
