Senior Software Developer at VMRay

Joerg Patzer has worked in the software development industry for over 17 years. In 2004, they began their career as an intern at BUG Computer Components AG. In 2005, they co-founded and developed core modules of Splatterladder, a ranking and statistical analysis portal for multiplayer games. From 2007 to 2008, they were a diploma student at Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron DESY, where they developed "Comon", a web-based temperature monitoring system. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Web Developer at INOSTUDIO, where they were responsible for the technical development of the Inform3 RESTful-API. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Senior Software Developer at 1&1 Internet SE, where they were a member of the "Visioneers" Layout Team and created web applications and services for the MyWebsite department. From 2016 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at bitgrip GmbH, where they worked on Node.js (SSR) and React projects for KSB, a world's leading manufacturers of pumps and industrial valves. Currently, they are a Senior Software Developer at VMRay.

Joerg Patzer obtained a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) in Multimedia Technology from Hochschule Mittweida in 2008. Joerg also holds a Zend Certified Engineer certification from Zend Technologies, which they obtained in December 2011.
