Emre Güler is a Senior Threat Researcher at VMRay, where they focus on malware analysis, fuzzing, and reverse engineering. They began their journey in computer security as a teenager and pursued extensive academic training, earning a Master's degree in IT-Security and working as a PhD student at Ruhr University Bochum from 2016 to 2022. Emre also gained experience as a Research Assistant and a Student Helper at various institutions prior to their current role. Their passion lies in binary analysis, exploitation, and securing systems across a range of vulnerabilities.
