Sam Boatright

Sam Boatright serves as a Buyer/Curator at VNYL since June 2020, responsible for researching and purchasing records, curating inventory, managing invoices, and engaging in B2B sales. In addition, Sam operates as a self-employed music journalist, focusing on album reviews and interviews with prominent artists. Previously, from February 2014 to June 2020, Sam was the Inventory Manager at Love Garden Sounds, where responsibilities included managing stock, improving sales processes, and aiding in live sound production. Earlier experience includes roles at Richard's Music CO. as a shop clerk and guitar tech. Sam holds a degree in Songwriting from Berklee Online College of Music and has studied Women's Studies at the University of Kansas.
