Simon Dennett

Simon Dennett has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Simon is currently a Co-founder of Voco, a community platform that facilitates meaningful 1:1 conversations about work and careers. Prior to this, Simon was a Co-founder at West16th, where they provided advisory services to interesting companies and individuals in areas such as strategy, product, and business planning.

Simon also served as a Special Advisor & Board Member at AMRA Music from 2019 to 2020. Before that, they held various positions at Kobalt Music, including Chief Product Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, and Executive Vice President. In these roles, Simon played a key role in Kobalt's market entry into recorded music and society music, as well as in building the company's Product Management and Design discipline from scratch. Simon also oversaw negotiations of commercial agreements with major tech platforms and had responsibilities in areas such as group strategy, fundraising, operations, and growth planning.

Simon's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Consultant at Atkins Management Consultants. Overall, Simon Dennett has a strong background in strategy, business development, and advisory work in the music and technology industry.

Simon Dennett attended the University of Bristol from 1998 to 2002 and obtained a 1st degree in Physics. Prior to their time at the university, they completed a foundation year in Computer Systems Engineering at the University of Bristol.
