Daniel Azzopardi

Daniel Azzopardi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data engineering and technology leadership. Currently serving as the Head of Data Platform Engineering at Vodafone since June 2011, Daniel spearheads the transformation of data warehousing analytics and machine learning capabilities. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Strategic Programmes and Senior Manager of Enterprise Transformation, demonstrating a strong focus on strategic technology initiatives. Daniel's expertise extends back to leadership positions in D. Azzopardi Consulting Ltd and various roles at Vodafone UK, O2, and BT, where foundational work in speech recognition software was carried out. Educationally, Daniel holds a PhD in Control Systems from Aston University and has completed legal qualifications, including a Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course.
