Matt Sampson

Matt Sampson is a telecommunications professional with extensive experience in field engineering, network design, and project management. From January 2012 to September 2019, Matt served as a Field Engineer at Openreach, where responsibilities included working with copper and fibre networks, overseeing project leads, and coordinating civil works across multiple regions. Prior to that, Matt was a Weapons Engineer and Radar Operator for the Royal Navy from June 2008 to September 2012, serving on HMS YORK and HMS RICHMOND. Currently, Matt holds the position of Fibre Network Designer at Vodafone, focusing on business connections and associated projects since October 2023.
