Meriel Fleming

Meriel Fleming has extensive experience in internal communications, most notably as Head of Internal Communications (Interim) at Vodafone from March 2016 to July 2025, leading the comms strategy for the VodafoneThree merger. Previously, as Senior Communications Lead for the Vodafone and Three merger, Meriel oversaw governance and program management for communication workstreams and developed internal communications plans. Prior roles include Senior Communications Manager for Vodafone UK and Senior Manager of Internal Communications at Lloyds Banking Group, where leadership in communications for various divisions was key. Meriel's career began with the Lloyds TSB Graduate Training Programme, and education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University and a Diploma of Education from Nottingham Business School.
