Patrick Raab served in the Bundeswehr as a soldier from 2004 to 2007, including deployment in ISAF 12/13. Currently, Raab holds various leadership roles at Vodafone, including Abteilungsleiter Contact Center Operations and Bereichsleiter Assisted Service & Support TECH, since 2022. Additionally, Raab has been the Vorstandsvorsitzender at Kasai Ken Kampfkunst e.V. since 2019 and a Reservist with the Verband der Reservisten der Deutschen Bundeswehr e. V. since 2008. Raab completed an education in industrial management at Allgemeiner Ingenieurbau Thüringen GmbH from 2000 to 2003.
