Declan Johnston

Declan Johnston is currently the Machine Learning Project Lead at VodaSafe, where they contribute to the development of innovative technology for search and rescue devices. Previously, Declan worked as a Software Engineering Contractor and held engineering co-op positions at both Tangio Printed Electronics and ICBC, where they developed tools and firmware for various applications. Declan's academic background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Physics from The University of British Columbia, earned in 2020. In earlier roles, they also gained experience as a caddie and proshop assistant at Beacon Hall Golf Club.
