Eric Mar

Eric Mar is an Engineering Manager in New Product Development at Vode Lighting LLC, where they have been since 2021. Previously, they served as a Lead Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Design Engineer at Vode Lighting LLC, focusing on innovation in lighting solutions. Eric co-founded Tandemech Engineering, a robotics startup, where they developed industrial wall-driving robots and participated in multiple start-up competitions. Their experience also includes roles as a Test and Evaluation Engineer at Tapestry Solutions and an Engineering Laboratory Technician at CamelBak, where they contributed to sustainability initiatives and advanced product testing. Eric earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2013.
