Marta Sobczyk

Marta Sobczyk has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Marta started their career in 2013 as a Trainee at Bank Zachodni WBK S.A., where they worked on business problem-solving using Excel, VBA, and SQL. Marta also worked on a project to automate the report generation process.

In 2014, Marta worked as a Trainee at KRUK S.A. for a brief period.

In 2015, they joined Datarino (Up2data Sp. z o.o.) as a Data Scientist.

From 2016 to 2017, Marta worked at ING as a Customer Intelligence Analyst, where they analyzed customer data.

Marta then joined Ryanair as a Data Science Developer for a few months in 2016.

From 2017 to 2018, Marta worked at ING as an Expert Data Scientist, where they designed and developed advanced analytics solutions using Big Data and handled end-to-end project management.

Since 2018, they have been working as a Senior Data Scientist at Vodeno.

Marta Sobczyk obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics (Statistics) from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Physics at the University of Wroclaw from 2010 to 2013. During their undergraduate studies, they participated in the Erasmus Exchange Programme at the National University of Ireland (NUIM) in Maynooth from September to December 2012. Additionally, Marta has acquired several certifications, including a Professional Data Engineer certification from Google Cloud obtained in December 2021. Marta has also completed online courses such as "R Programming" from Johns Hopkins University on Coursera and "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Johns Hopkins University. Moreover, they hold an edX Honor Code Certificate for "Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python" from edX.
