Declan Knapp

Declan Knapp has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Declan started their career in 2005 at Layton Blackham, where they worked as a Primary Support Analyst, providing first-line helpdesk support for software and hardware issues. Declan also played a role in computer building and installation, as well as auditing.

In 2011, Declan joined Urban Jungle Exotics as a Sales, I.T, and Marketing professional. Declan was responsible for website creation, technical problem-solving, marketing, and sales.

From 2012 to 2021, Declan co-founded Zoo 4 You, an Animal Events service. In this role, they organized events, managed the website, and led marketing campaigns while also liaising with clients.

In 2020, Declan pursued freelance work as a Sound Designer and Music Composer. Declan continued this freelance work until 2023.

In 2021, Declan joined SIDE Global as a Freelance Audio Engineer and later took on roles as a Post Production Coordinator and Post Production Lead. Declan worked in these positions until 2023.

Currently, Declan is employed as a Senior Sound Designer at Voicemod, starting in 2023. Further information about this role is not provided.

Declan Knapp began their education at Witham Technology Centre in 2005, where they obtained an NVQ Level 2 in Information Technology. Declan later attended Colchester Institute from 2007 to 2009, earning a BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology. From 2009 to 2012, Declan studied at Canterbury Christ Church University, where they achieved a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Creative Music Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Declan Knapp has also obtained certifications in specific areas. In November 2020, they completed the Wwise Fundamentals certification course offered by Audiokinetic. In March 2020, they obtained a certification in The Science of Sales from LinkedIn.
