Frank Biskup

Frank Biskup is a skilled patent specialist at Voith Group since December 2020, overseeing the intellectual property portfolio across various divisions including Voith Hydro, Voith Paper, Voith Turbo, and Voith Digital Ventures. Prior to this role, Frank served in multiple capacities at Voith Hydro from January 2014 to December 2020, including manager of the Product Development Service Division and head of Research, Development, and Resource Analysis. Frank's experience in research and development began at Voith Hydro Ocean Current Technologies GmbH & Co. KG from July 2009 to January 2014 as a senior engineer, where focus areas included hydraulic design and performance estimation of tidal energy converters. Earlier in the career, Frank worked at Voith Hydro from December 2006 to June 2009 as a development engineer, specializing in aerodynamic optimization and numerical simulations related to wave energy technologies. Frank holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, earned between 2001 and 2006.
