Olivia Thiry

Olivia Thiry has extensive experience in microbiological analysis and research, currently serving as a Laborantin en recherche at VolitionRx since May 2021. Prior to this role, Olivia worked at Belgian Volition SA as a Laborantin and held the position of Responsable service microbiologie at Lareco SA, where responsibilities included conducting microbiological analyses, managing quality control processes, overseeing audits, and improving procedural quality. Olivia's early career involved a student internship at Bio-X Diagnostics focusing on the development of ELISA diagnostic methods and a master's thesis at Université de Namur exploring hyaluronidase expression in breast cancer cell lines. Olivia holds a Master's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Université de Namur and completed biotechnology training at Giga CHU ULg.
