George Talbot

George Talbot serves as the Senior Vice President at Volkert, Inc., since August 2020, where responsibilities include providing corporate leadership across all markets in alignment with the company's strategic plan. Previously, George held the position of Vice President of External Affairs at Volkert, leading initiatives to enhance the company's brand and foster relationships with stakeholders. Additional experience includes serving as the Director of Governmental Relations for the City of Mobile, AL, and various roles in journalism, such as State and National Political Reporter at The Mobile Press Register and Political Editor at Mobile Register. George holds a B.A. in English from Rhodes College and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard University, along with participation in Leadership Alabama's Class of XXVII.
