Michael Barr

Michael Barr is a seasoned professional in construction management and project coordination with extensive experience in public utilities, stormwater systems, and land development. Currently serving as a Construction Inspector at Volkert, Inc., responsibilities include inspecting utility infrastructure for compliance and managing stormwater project inspections across North Carolina. Michael has previously held key management roles, such as Community Development Director for the City of Millersville, where oversight included zoning, planning, and economic development. A co-founder of an intentional community, Michael has also worked with the National Park Service and directed nonprofit community development initiatives, showcasing a diverse skill set in project management and regulatory compliance. Educated in Construction Management at Daytona State College, Michael blends practical expertise with strategic oversight in various engineering and construction contexts.
