Michael Valdes

Michael Valdes, CCM, DBIA, is a seasoned construction manager and design-build professional with over 20 years of project delivery experience. Currently serving as Vice President at Volkert, Inc., they manage civil engineering inspection operations in Georgia. Valdes previously held leadership roles at Michael Baker International and BCC Engineering, LLC, and they advocate for public education as the Vice Chair of Forsyth County Schools Board of Education. As Vice-Chairman of the Georgia State Advisory Committee for the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, they engage in research and policy development concerning civil rights issues, particularly in K-12 education.
