Michael Rackers

Michael Rackers began their career in 2011 as a Sales Associate at Kohl's Department Stores. In 2014, they became a Web Developer Intern at Engage Mobile Solutions, where they were responsible for creating and deploying client websites using WordPress. In 2015, they joined Volly as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were involved in full-stack development using Angular, NodeJS, and PostgreSQL. Michael worked in an Agile environment and was involved in developing the application API, webhooks, and integrations such as Velocify and Twilio. Michael also lead the support team for the Angular application and deployed code using TeamCity and AWS CodeBuild. Additionally, they worked on images, html templates, and other assets in S3, wrote tests using Mocha, and assisted in defect remediation and converting PHP pages to React components in the Laravel app.

Michael Rackers attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Information Technology.
