Barry Downes

Barry Downes is the Managing Partner at Sure Valley Ventures (SVV), a venture capital firm focused on investing in disruptive software start-ups, particularly in the fields of Augmented and Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and the Internet of Things. They serve as an investor for multiple innovative companies, including CameraMatics, VividQ, Getvisibility, and Nova Leah, among others. Barry's earlier accomplishments include founding FeedHenry, a leading cloud-based mobile applications platform acquired by Red Hat. Furthermore, Barry is involved in academia through the Venture Capital Executive Programme at the University of California, Berkeley.
