Fabio Bocola

Fabio Bocola, Ph.D., is a Senior Airline Captain currently working with Volotea and holds multiple roles, including Line Trainer and Maintenance Check Flight Team Member. With a rich background in aviation, they previously served as Captain for Alitalia and have extensive experience as a pilot for various companies, including ELIJET and AERONARDI. They have been an Independent Lecturer in aerospace topics at universities and high schools since 2008. Fabio earned a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and continues to pursue a Master’s degree in the field as well as manage flight safety education through the Italian Flight Safety Committee.
