Ryan Yao

Ryan Yao is a skilled chemical engineer with a passion for energy, batteries, and data science. Currently serving as a Senior Battery Engineer at Voltaiq since 2025, Ryan has previously held roles at ZPower, Berkeley Lab, and QuantumScape, where they conducted innovative research and engineering projects in battery technology. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with high honors from the University of California, Berkeley, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at The University of Texas at Austin, expected to conclude in 2024.
