Surendar CR

Surendar CR is a Plastics Engineer with significant experience in new product development, particularly in the recycling and sustainability of plastic materials. At Voltas Limited, Surendar successfully re-engineered high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) to incorporate recycled content, resulting in substantial cost reductions and waste diversion. Key achievements include formulating a cost-effective flame-retardant substitute and scaling recycled polypropylene compounds for mass production, all while adhering to Indian EPR guidelines. Previously, as a Junior Production Supervisor at Prominance Window Systems, Surendar managed blending operations to ensure quality in extrusion processes. Surendar holds a Bachelor of Technology in Plastics Manufacturing and a diploma in mould manufacturing and design from the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology.
