Simone Schonken

Simone Schonken is an experienced professional in human capital and industrial relations. Currently serving as Associate Director and Head of Human Capital at PwC Mauritius since January 2019, Simone has a strong background in managing human capital and industrial relations in various capacities. Previously, Simone has worked as an Industrial Relations Officer and Legal Advisor at Voltex SA since March 2011, focusing on delivering services to support the business objectives of a large workforce. Experience also includes consultancy roles at People Beyond and various earlier positions that provided foundational expertise in labour legislation and human resources. Education includes a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Pretoria and a Business Executive Development Program from GIBS Business School.
