Mike Maxwell, P.E.

Mike Maxwell, P.E. has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Mike started their career with an internship at Avista in 1991, where they gained experience in substation design engineering. In 1992, they joined Puget Sound Energy as a Substation & Controls Engineer/Customer Service Engineer. Mike worked there until 1996.

In 1996, Mike joined SEL as an Applications Engineer, where they worked until 1999. During their time at SEL, they also served as a Supervising Engineer in Protection Services from 1999 to 2001. From 2001 to 2003, Mike held the position of Director, Systems & Services Division at SEL.

In 2004, Mike joined ReliOn Inc. as the Director of Applications Eng. Mike worked there for ten years until 2014.

In 2014, Mike moved to Plug Power as the Director of Applications Engineering, a role they held until their departure in 2018.

In 2018, Mike joined VoltServer Inc. as a Senior Systems Engineer, where they currently work.

Mike Maxwell, P.E. began their education at Spokane Falls Community College in 1987, where they pursued studies in an undisclosed field. Mike continued their education at Washington State University from 1989 until 1992, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
