Award winning charity serving our communities by encouraging friendships, combating isolation and celebrating independent living.

"Volunteer Friends" emerged as an innovative initiative dedicated to fostering friendship, social inclusion, and community engagement through a diverse range of services. For over 35 years we have been delivering services to the vulnerable in our community. Our primary aim is to combat loneliness and isolation through social interaction via our volunteer-led activities.

We recruit volunteers to fill various roles, including drivers, escorts, befrienders, caterers, hosts, event organizers, and any other positions deemed essential to meet the needs of our organization and its users. By empowering volunteers in these capacities, we create a dynamic network that encourages active participation and allows service users to shape the agenda for their future activities.

At the core of our mission are the following objectives:

1.	Fostering independence
2.	Facilitating social rehabilitation
3.	Promoting overall well-being
4.	Providing stimulating activities

Through these activities, Volunteer Friends seeks to not only enhance the lives of our users but also contribute to the development of a more connected and vibrant community.
