Derek Vote

Derek Vote is a Meat Scientist with an extensive background in animal science and food technology. They earned both a Master’s and Ph.D. in Animal Science-Meat Science from Colorado State University, following a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business and Animal Science from Iowa State University. Derek has held significant positions, including Director of Product at Lumachain and Head of Völur U.S., and previously served as a Senior Food Scientist at Cargill.
