Akarsh Kumar

Akarsh Kumar has extensive experience in the automotive and electrical engineering sectors, currently serving as a Manager at Volvo Group since July 2019, overseeing the design and development of components for flagship trucks targeted at the European market. Prior roles include Deputy Manager, focused on the development of the Front Panel and reducing CO2 emissions, and Graduate Engineer, where Akarsh was the sole Graduate Mechanical Engineer in the R&D division, managing exterior components for Asian markets. Additional experiences include a Research and Development Intern position at Schneider Electric, contributing to Low Voltage Switchboards, and an Industrial Trainee role at NTPC Limited, gaining insights into thermal power plant operations. Akarsh began an academic journey in Mechanical Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology, culminating in a Bachelor of Technology degree in 2019.
