Christopher Backis

Christopher Backis is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in business control, finance consulting, auditing, and accounting. Currently serving as a Business Controller at Volvo Group since August 2023, Christopher is involved in digital development and innovative transport solutions in a global team. Previous experience includes Controller at Fastighets AB Balder, with responsibilities such as regional financial management and ERP system maintenance, and roles at Mpya Finance and KPMG, where Christopher gained expertise in real estate accounting and compliance auditing. Christopher holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg and completed an exchange semester at HEC Montréal.
