Jonas Hellgren is an experienced researcher in electromobility, currently engaged at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden with a focus on charging infrastructure. With a long tenure at Volvo Group since January 2007, Jonas has held multiple roles including innovator, systems engineer, and project leader, contributing approximately 40 filed patents and receiving the Volvo Group innovator award in 2021 and 2024. Previous positions include principal engineer for vehicle automation at AB Volvo, where collaboration among autonomous vehicles was a key responsibility, and specialist in electromobility at Volvo GTT. Additional experience includes thematic leader at the Swedish Electromobility Centre, supplemented by a Doctor of Philosophy in Electromobility from Chalmers University of Technology and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Linköping University.
