Alex So

Alex So is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in mobile development and software engineering. Currently serving as Lead Developer at Volvo Cars since December 2023, Alex focuses on app development for Head Unit Display and enhancing workflows. As the founder of ASO Tech, expertise is provided in mobile development consultancy, particularly in Android. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at OPEN, where Android Native solutions for cash registers were created, and a notable tenure at Volvo Cars from 2016 to 2020 as Software Architect, overseeing the expansion and quality of the Volvo On Call app. Previous experience spans various projects in iOS, Android, embedded systems, and system-level development, with significant contributions at companies like HiQ, Saab, Ericsson, and Sony Ericsson. Alex holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and has undergone additional studies at National Chiao Tung University.
