Andrew Freeman is an experienced geopolitical analyst and security manager with over 15 years advising senior stakeholders and businesses on strategic geopolitical and security risks. Currently, they manage Volvo Cars' Regional Security program, overseeing the protection of operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, while enhancing the company's global geopolitical and security intelligence capabilities. Prior to joining Volvo, Andrew worked as a Senior Analyst at Control Risks, delivering crucial geopolitical analysis to assist clients in navigating complex environments. Andrew holds a Master’s degree in Middle Eastern and North African Studies from Stockholm University and a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic from the University of Exeter.
