Åsa Haglund is currently the Vice President and Head of Volvo Cars Safety Centre, having played an integral role in various safety-related positions within Volvo Cars since 2019. Previously, Åsa served as PM Safety Priorities and held key managerial roles focusing on child safety and rear crash testing. They also contributed expertise in wheel suspension tuning and crash analysis at Volvo Car Group. Åsa began their career as a teacher of French and English at Östlyckan Högstadeiskola from 2002 to 2004, and holds multiple degrees in engineering and language from prestigious institutions including Chalmers University of Technology and Université de Technologie de Compiègne.
