Dan Silver

Dan Silver is an experienced design professional with a strong background in leading digital design initiatives across prominent companies. Currently serving as the Lead System Designer at Volvo Cars since March 2018, Dan is instrumental in developing a design system that integrates Volvo's digital platforms. Previous roles at Volvo include Experience Design Lead and Head of Digital Design, where Dan focused on subscription services and advocating for design methodologies. Prior to Volvo, Dan held the position of Senior Product Designer at Spotify, working on scalable design languages and UX guidelines. Dan's career began at the BBC, where responsibilities included user experience design for multi-platform news services and editorial design. Dan's educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Graphic Design & Communication from the University of the Creative Arts and A Levels in Art & Design, Graphic Design, and Geology from Luton Sixth Form College.
