Johan Taws

Johan Taws has over two decades of experience at Volvo Cars, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Products and Programs for Large Cars, overseeing product responsibilities from inception to launch. Previous roles include significant leadership positions in product development and strategy, particularly in automating mobility solutions and electric vehicle transformation. Johan led key projects such as the XC40 and the successful S60L vehicle program in China, demonstrating expertise in cross-functional team management and commercial strategy. In addition to industry experience, Johan contributes to governance as a Board Member at Göteborgs Tekniska College. Academic credentials include a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and additional military and technical training.
