Jonas Östh

Jonas Östh is currently a Technical Expert in Human Body Modelling at Volvo Cars and an Adjunct Associate Professor (Docent) at Chalmers University of Technology. They completed a PhD in Machine and Vehicle Systems at Chalmers University, where they focused on developing Active Human Body Models and conducted research on finite element human body models, particularly in female biomechanics. Prior to their current role, Jonas worked as a CAE Engineer in Safety at Volvo Car Group and served as a Test and CAE Engineer for Brake Performance at Volvo Car Corporation. They also have consultancy experience with Rücker Nord AB.
